The same part in Hastelloy B-3 weighs more than twice as much as in titanium Grade 5. If you are considering a material change, review handling, installation and support calculations as well.

Density values are taken from producer datasheets: Special Metals and Haynes International for nickel alloys, Rolled Alloys for super duplex, EN 10088 and mill datasheets for stainless grades. For sheet and tube, manufacturing tolerance means actual weight can differ by roughly 2–3%; invoicing is based on weighed mass.
